Engagement shoots are always that much more meaningful when you do them somewhere that you both enjoy. For Coral and Matt this was out in Lake of the woods, and just a few short steps from their cabin. We went back to the spot where Matt proposed to Coral, and wandered around to a few other spots, and did a little wardrobe change!
I very much enjoy shoots out at the lake, getting out and seeing new places is always good in my books!
Enjoy!

Engagement
I met up with these two in the exchange, we wandered around and found beautiful light, and took some fun and fancy photo's.
Enjoy!
So I'm just going to throw this out there, that if anyone wants to bring their motorcycle to their engagement shoot, I am all over that idea! Ashley and Kenny didn't disappoint by bringing theirs out. We wandered around the Exchange District, talked about our fav mexican restaurants, and chased light for the evening, sometimes they questioned my choice of spots to shoot, but what can I say, the light was beautiful.
Enough chit chat, go check out the pics!
Headed out to Winkler, Mb for Stephanie and Adams engagement shoot and frolicked in a field of potatoes destined to be McDonald's French Fries. These two were a lot of fun and up for pretty much anything, which is always good in my books!
Looking forward to heading back out there this winter for their wedding.
Enjoy.
Holly and Sam, what can I say about these two lovers. They are an absolute great time, we had a lot of laughs and lots of fun on their engagement shoot out at West Hawk Lake.
I may have even had to tell Sam to settle down a bit on the bum grabs, or I may have encouraged them...
We took a little trail, and found some great views, and some beautiful light, and captured some beautiful moments of the two of them.
I won't waste any more of your time, so just go ahead and look through the photos!
It was a beautiful summer evening when I made my way out to Nikki and Bruno's place to shoot their engagement photo's. They even started things off with a drink and had one ready for me (I can't complain about that!)
We pretty much did a lap around their property and captured most of the beautiful photo's below. Its been great getting to know these two so far and hearing all of their crazy stories!
Can't wait to get together again and capture some more memories with them.
So its no secret, we take every chance we can get to shoot out at a lake, or head out on an adventure with our couples!
We made our way out to Lester Beach with Ashley and Matt for their engagement. We found some pretty light, sat and talked for a bit, had some laughs, and watched the sun go down over the lake.
Sit back, and enjoy scrolling through this post! I very much enjoyed getting out for this shoot.
I think i've discovered the best way to start an engagement shoot... ICE CREAM!!
We headed out to Gimli on a beautiful evening, first stop was Country Boy Restaurant for ice cream. We wandered around while they enjoyed their ice cream. Made our way onto the beach, and found some really cute spots around town, then finished up on the docks for the last bit of sun light,
Andrea and Eric were total naturals in front of the camera, its like they could read my mind and knew exactly what to do.
Enjoy :)
I always say I love shooting places i've never been before, so when Alissa and Michael we're up for meeting us out in Brandon, while we were away for the week out at Clear Lake I was quite pleased.
We met up at the Brandon Research Centre and wandered around finding great spots to show off these two love birds. Afterwards we also had the pleasure of finding a few too many wood ticks on ourselves.
Not too long now until they are married!
Enjoy. :)
Birdshill Park never really disappoints. It seems no matter what time of year you go there it's always great for photos. While spring time has its challenges with crazy weather, messy streets, etc. The park is just beautiful. It was a bit of a windy day when we got out with Melissa and Aaron, and it was a bit cool. However these two toughed it out and made the best of it, and the photo's show.
Looking forward to capturing more beautiful photo's of them later this year.
