Way back in the summer I met Erin and Kyle at Andrea and Eric's wedding. We were sitting at the same table (one of the most outgoing tables i've sat at in a while) lots of good fun conversations. A little while later I received an email from them as they wanted to book us for their wedding! Needless to say I was excited! We headed out to La Barrier Park for their engagement shoot, the tree's were covered in frost, it wasn't too cold out, and we had some good laughs, as I'm sure you will see in the photo's below.

I love getting out to Gimli, so heading out there for Veronica and Brendin's engagement didn't take much to convince me. It wasn't a beautiful day out though, more of the moody, super windy, waves crashing type of day. It all worked out though, we had some fun wandering around and taking some fun photo's.
After the shoot was finished I made sure to stop by my fav restaurant out there (Brennivins Pizza Hus) Be sure to order their Ravioli Bites if you ever go there!
Enjoy!
Last Fall I spent an evening full of smiles and fresh snow with Catherine and Jordan out at Birds Hill Park. These two were literally smiling the entire time. The fresh snowfall and still mild temps made for an enjoyable and beautiful time. Can't wait to see these smiley faces again soon!
Enjoy!
I've been having a blast getting to know these two, and their cute pup! They invited me out to their property to get out and do their engagement photo's. It's always nice when you can shoot some where that has meaning to the couple. Their piece of land was a dream to shoot at. We wandered around and found all kinds of great spots. Can't wait till we get to adventure together in Mexico with them this year!
Fort Whyte in the fall is always really beautiful. So it made for a perfect spot to head out with Caitlin and Jeff for their engagement shoot. I've known Jeff for a number of years so we had some good laughs, and caught up on some old memories (We may have gone on one of the wildest trips to Vegas together years ago).
Stay tuned for their Peg Beer Co wedding to be posted soon!
Enjoy!
Spent a wonderful fall evening with Courtney and Andrew on some of their family property. I couldn't have asked for more, old cars, old plane, old buildings, and even an old Airstream!! We wandered around got our feet a bit mucky, and covered in burr's but it was all part of the fun and adventure! I had a great time with these two, and can't wait for more later this year!
Enjoy!
I knew these two would be a good time the moment I met them for coffee to chat about their wedding we hit things off pretty good!. I made my way out to Kenora for their engagement photo's. I was kindly greeted with a gin and tonic (hard to say no to that) we were also greeted with 90km/h winds! The wind sure added a bit of craziness to the shoot, but we didn't let it stop us. We hiked some trails, found some beautiful spots, and beautiful light, and finished up back in town with a few photo's in the dark.
Can't wait for more good times with them, just hopefully we can ditch the wind!
Enjoy.
The first time I met Alyssa and Geoff was at their engagement shoot, I was given a location near Kenora to meet them, and from there I followed them to places i'd never been before!
Quite honestly I didn't know we had such amazing landscapes so close to us! We hiked, ventured off road, climbed cliffs, and had one heck of a fantastic evening! I love going to new places, and making new friends!
Kenora and Lake of the Woods is such a beautiful area that I want to explore more of!
Enjoy!
Fun fact, I used to baby sit Brett many many years ago! He used to live on the other side of the street from us. Now here he is, all grown up and getting married to the love of his life. Side note, he's also responsible for my favorite pizza! (Presto Pizza - Shameless plug).
We spent a wonderful evening in Birds Hill Park having some good laughs and catching up. I also made them kiss a number of times, which I don't think Sara minded too much! Can't wait for more time spent with these two!
Enjoy!
I think it would be pretty foolish and unlike me to say no to going on an adventure with a couple. Amanda and Scott invited me out to Brereton Lake to head out on their boat and find some beautiful spots to take their photo's. I had fun rippin around the lake in the back of the boat with these two. I love couples that are up for adventures! They were both full of smiles, and up for getting into some tricky spots for photo's.
I'd never been to Brereton Lake before this, and what a beautiful place it is! Hopefully i'll be back out there again this year!
Enjoy!
