Jen and David got married With a gorgeous ceremony outside the Assiniboine park pavilion, Jen with her kids at her side and David with his sister by his. The ceremony was sweet, and personal.
I may have only been around them for a couple hours but it was long enough to see how much love they had for each other and their family and friends.
Inside the Assiniboine park pavilion was decorated beautifully by the Little Flower shop.
This really is a beautiful space for a wedding.
Enjoy the photos below.

Back in July Alyssa and Geoff had a very very beautiful wedding at Lac Lu Landing. All the details were amazing, they even included their sweet pup! Lots of good times, and great laughs with this wedding party! They even had a plane stop by and pick them up for a flight right after the ceremony, how amazing is that!
Enjoy!

We met up with Saki and Edwin pretty early in the morning to head out on this hike to do some more wedding photos with them. To start it should be noted that Saki did the entire hike in her wedding dress and flip flops (no big deal). This was some of the hottest, most humid hiking i've ever done, we were all sweating like crazy, except for Saki!
When the trail first starts you get this crazy view of so much lush greenery, this got us all kinds of excited and shooting right away, then you walk like 20 steps further and the view gets even better!!
There was so many great little spots to stop and shoot on the way up to the falls, and then on the way back down you get to view every thing just a little bit differently and get excited about it all over again.
It was a good thing we got started on the hike early as when we reached the falls there was already a crowd of people starting and by the time we were done shooting at the falls it was packed with people.
This was really one hell of an amazing shoot, and so much fun. We can't wait to get back out to Hawaii again one of these days.
There will be one more Oahu blog post coming, but it will be of personal photo's we took of our time out there, so be on the look out for that.
Sara and Troy said their ‘I do’s’ at the beautiful Hawthorne Estates this summer. We got to see a few familiar faces at their wedding, which is always great! Hawthorn Estates was spectacular as always. We even managed to sneak out for a few sunset photo’s with Sara and Troy. Congrats to the two of them on this wonderful day!

Kirstie & Michael were married in Toronto this past winter and wanted the exact opposite for their Winnipeg wedding. Well, they got it. It was at least 35+! We went out to Harte Trail and The Gates on Roblin for some beautiful and intimate portraits, just the 3 of us. Then they had a lovely brunch followed by a BBQ in Michael's parents back yard. Everyone was so welcoming and lovely - thanks for including me in your special day!

Holy smokes was this one a hot and windy wedding day!! however it was freakin amazing too! Everything was perfect throughout the day, and a whole lot of fun was had. The wedding was held on Catherine's parents property which was beyond beautiful, florals and decor was taken care of by Floral Fixx (they did a beautiful job!).
We started the day with the first look at Birds hill park, and then followed it up with the rest of the photo's there too. When it came time for the reception some pretty wild clouds came rolling in and they only lasted a couple minutes but we managed to get some crazy photo's with them.
Managed to catch a bit of sunset to wrap up the evening, and then the party got started!
Enjoy!
Well, Amanda and Scott got married on what I would say was one of the HOTTEST days of the year! So hot that my glasses would fog up when I would walk outside of the building!
I had a fantastic time with Amanda and Scott, and their family and friends out at Hawthorn Estates. Too many good laughs were had with every one. We snuck outside as the sun was setting to capture some more beautiful shots with the two of them.
Take a scroll through and enjoy!

For as long as I can remember it’s been a dream of mine to visit Hawaii, well it finally happened! I’ve known Edwin for longer than I can remember, him and my brother were always great friends so I’d see Edwin around the house quite a bit. One day I got a message from Edwin telling me he wanted us to shoot his wedding in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. I may have gotten a slight bit excited by this. We got together at their condo, I met Saki for the first time and we had some pizza together and talked about the plans for the big exciting day.
So here we go, Amanda and I hopped on a plane to Vancouver followed up with another to Waikiki!! First thoughts upon landing in Waikiki.. holy smokes it’s hot here and whaaaaaaat!! We’re in Hawaii!!!!!
We stayed in Waikiki a block from the beach, pretty much perfect! If you’ve never been to Waikiki let’s just say it’s kinda like Vegas, minus the casinos and smoking but with an amazing beach and far friendlier people. We soaked up the sun, watched surfers surf, enjoyed great food and maybe a few mai tai’s!
I’ll get back to a few of our adventures in a bit or maybe I’ll do a separate post for those.
Now for Saki and Edwin’s wedding day! Obviously we kicked it off with a power breakfast at McDonald’s! Amanda made her way to the guys hotel while they got ready and I went over to Saki’s hotel while she got ready with her girls. We then met up with all their family and friends on the big tour bus to make our way to Paradise Cove for the ceremony and reception. The heat that day was no joke! It was hot, like crazy hot! That didn’t stop everyone from having a great time though. Their ceremony included some fun Hawaiian traditions (they had to kiss for as long as the officiant could blow into a conch shell). Cocktail hour was fantastic, they even had Hawaiian shave ice available for everyone (seriously good stuff!). We wandered along the beach and took so many photos! Paradise Cove was a spectacular wedding venue. Once the sun started to get close to where the sky meets the ocean we headed back down to the beach for some more photos, and wow the Hawaiian sunset didn’t disappoint! We spent the rest of the night partying with everyone there and having an amazing good time!
No apologies for all the pics below. Also stay tuned for part two of our time with Saki and Edwin where we hike to Manoa Falls for another shoot!
Back in June I spent the day with Michelle and James. We did their first look outside the front door of their home, and then headed out to Assiniboine Park for photos. Every thing was going great when out of no where a crazy rain storm hit and sent us waiting inside our vehicles for 30 mins. This was the same time that a lot of High School grads were going on and needless to say I think a lot of them got a bit wet while having their photo's done too.
Once the rain went away the sun was back out for a beautiful day, we shot a bit more and then headed over to the Qualico centre to wrap up the evening with their reception. Lots of fun and good laughs with these two and their wedding party and family.
We spent a beautiful day at pineridge hollow with Katie and Adam for their wedding. They opted for a first look which left Adam in tears, and maybe a few others too. We headed into the wilds of birdshill park for some photos with the two of them and their wedding party, and then back to Pineridge Hollow to make things official with their wedding ceremony. Lots of good laughs and fun to be had that evening.
Time to start scrolling through the pics below!
