Sara and Chris got married out at Anderson’s Hitch’n Post in Grosse Isle Manitoba.
Let me tell ya, it was COLD that day, the wind was freezing! We managed to get all our outdoor photo’s done in well under an hour.
The day with these two and their family and friends was all kinds of fun. Lots and lots of good laughs during speeches, a fantastic meal (always love the food out at the Hitch’n Post), and delicious desserts!
After the formalities of the night we headed out for a few last fun shots outside.
Enjoy!

Im not too sure where to even start with these two… but here goes. Im going to start with knocking on their door at the Inn at the Forks. The room was full of everyone in the wedding party, Claire and her girls in the bedroom getting ready, and John and the guys hanging out in the other half of the hotel room. John was sitting comfortably in his robe watching some obscure movies i’d never heard of, and Claire and the girls were hanging out laughing and having a great time in their room.
Once all the hair and makeup was done, and after John slipped out of the robe and into his wedding suit we headed out to do their first look. They did their first look in the same spot Amanda and I did ours.
After that, we headed outdoors for some fun photo’s with every one, and then off to The Common at the Forks for a quick bite to eat. With tummy’s filled up we made our way over to Fort Gibraltar for a few more photo’s before the ceremony.
Claire and John did things their way for the wedding, and that included entering the ceremony walking down the aisle together. Totally loved that.
The rest of the evening was amazing, like bringing a guy to tears kind of amazing. How’d that happen you ask? Well having the entire room full of guests singing a song to them is what did it.
I left this wedding feeling so refreshed, and happy, and just feeling great about doing what I do and why I do it.
Enjoy the photo’s below, I enjoyed the heck taking them and editing them.

I can’t say enough good things about these two! Josee and Bryce were married in Mariapolis, Manitoba about 2.5 hours away. Everyone knows I don’t go outside the perimeter for just anyone, but I was so excited for this day and it didn’t disappoint.
Rolling hills, hilarious bridal party, a super awesome bus driver who had no fear, cows, cow poop, sing along s and a huge party to top it off!
Josee and Bryce are so sweet and welcomed me into their circle of friends and family for the day. Thanks so much and enjoy!

Like I’ve mentioned previously Fort Garry Hotel is always fantastic!
Fun Fact: These two were both in different wedding parties for weddings I’d shot in the past.
Tiffany and Scott opted not to see each other until she was walking down the aisle. After their super sweet ceremony we headed over to Upper Fort Garry Park behind the Manitoba Club. Something that you rarely see is a wedding party with more males than females, in this case it was WAY more groomsmen!!
These two spared no expense with their reception decor! They even did a blindfolded reveal of the room before all the guests arrived.

Fall in Clear Lake is pretty much my favorite. The town is so much quieter, but the scenery is absolutely beautiful, So a fall wedding in Clear Lake is hitting the jack pot for me!
Alyssa and Andrew live in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, but are originally from Manitoba. They and some family traveled from all over to meet in the small lake town for their celebrations.
They had a very small, intimate gathering at The Lake House
The Lake House is a small boutique type hotel that also has some of the best coffee and ice cream the town has to offer, and a cozy lounge space with a wood burning fireplace.
Everyone sat around one big table, and shared an amazing meal, followed by home made pies.
Caitlin and I showed up to Andrew's cabin first. Got to get to know him a little, and meet his Dad and step mom. We snapped some pics and chatted with him while he got ready, then headed over to see how the Bride was making out.
She was stunning. We did some detail and getting ready shots, and headed out for their first look as Bride and Groom.
Alyssa and Andrew had actually gotten married a few weeks ahead of their celebrations, on a hike, in Yellowknife, with just some of their closest friends as witnesses
This meant that the day of their Clear Lake wedding, the only business they had to attend to was getting their photos taken!
We spent a few hours wandering Clear Lake, finding some gorgeous light, and laughing. A lot of laughing. And shaking trees in the woods to try and make more leaves fall, only to fail, and then have the wind blow and have all the leaves fall perfectly in frame. I'm pretty Sure Caitlin and I screamed from the excitement.
After dinner, we were able to sneak the newly weds out again for some sun set magic on the beach, only to be side tracked by trying to throw rocks as far as we could into the water, and then trying to run fast enough to catch a peak at a beaver swimming under the boardwalk.
It was a great, laid back, fun day. I'm glad I can re live it again as I sort through some of their photos to share, and write out my thoughts.
Having couples choose us to shoot their weddings is always an honor, but to spend the entire day having fun with them, and then leaving feeling like you've made new friends - is the best, and a driving force to keep us doing what we do, and keep us loving it more and more.

I always enjoy weddings at the Fort Garry Hotel, and this one was no exception!
It was a perfect fall morning driving out to Stephanie and Dereks house to start the day with Stephanie and her bridesmaids getting ready. There was a lot of good laughs being had that morning, the best was from Dereks letter to Stephanie written on a shoebox lid (Its whats written that counts right!)
We did their first look outside their home in front of all of their family and wedding party. It was a real sweet moment, first looks are some of my fav moments.
We made our way down to the Exchange district, and Waterfront Drive for photo’s. Followed up with their ceremony at St. Lukes Anglican Church. What a fantastic church that is!
We finished up the formal part of the photo’s with a drive down Wellington Crescent. Which may have included a stop at a random mansion for some photos. Don’t worry, a few bridesmaids asked for permission first.
Then it was off to get the party started at The Fort Garry Hotel. Its always such a pleasure shooting there. The decor was beautiful, the flowers were stunning, and the evening was perfect!

Classic Winnipeg. The weather threatened to snow all day, yet we only received a bit of rain on Mackenzie & Brendan's wedding day at Whitetail Meadow. Though it was cold, Mackenzie & Brendan toughed it out and we were able to capture some really beautiful moments! I somehow even convinced them to go out after dark for some night time portraits!
Poutine bar, all night dancing and sparklers completed this perfect day - thank you so much for having me! Special thanks to Caitlin for helping me out by second shooting.

September sure got cold on us this year, and Keshia and Nicco’s wedding was no exception from that. It was chilly! We all toughed it out at Pineridge Hollow and still had a great time.
Great thing about Pineridge Hollow is you don’t really have to wander too far for good spots for photos.
The evening was full of great speeches, fun on the dance floor and quite the tug of war for the bouquet toss!
Enjoy!
Heather and Jeremy did things their way for their wedding. They had an amazing Sunday Brunch wedding out at Cielo’s Garden.
Cielo’s Garden in one of those really spectacular places to start with, but wow did these two ever make it even better. All the beautiful decore they made themselves was perfect!
The day was wonderful, a cute first look, photo’s in the field and in the tree’s, a beautiful ceremony, and lots of fun speeches. This was a perfect sunday wedding, and seriously who doesn’t like brunch!

Fall weddings are just so darn pretty. This one was no exception! This was our first time out at Bridgeview Acres, and wow what a place it is. Lots of charm and character, and great places for photo’s. Dahna and Kris had their first look in the oak tree’s and included their super cute pup as well.
The ceremony took place in the middle of a bunch of beautiful oak tree’s and the reception was in the big beautiful barn. We managed to get out for a few extra photo’s around sunset too!
Amanda and I were working along side each other again for this one, and as always had a lot of fun. I think there was 4 different couples there that we had shot their weddings as well. Always fun seeing familiar faces.
Dahna and Kris were all kinds of fun and up for pretty much anything. Thanks for having us as part of this big special day!
