Allison + Brad - The Met Winnipeg Wedding

Well this day was a load of fun, most days that start with a few beverages usually are. Amanda spent the morning getting photo’s of the guys getting ready, while I spent my time capturing the ladies getting all fancy!

Allison and Brad held their ceremony at the beautiful Leo Mol Gardens in Assiniboine Park. Its such a gorgeous spot for a summer ceremony. After the ceremony we took some photo’s of them around the gardens, they also got ‘Iced’ while we were there, and then made our way to The Common at the Forks to quench some thirst with a few drinks. A few more photo’s around there and we made our way to some spots around Waterfront. Then it was off the the elegant Met Theater for their wild reception. There was no lack of fun and good laughs with this crew. It was one of those fantastic days that kept a smile on your face till your face got sore! So glad to have been a part of this day with them.

Hit play on the slideshow, its always a bit better with some music to go along with the photos!

Nicole + Lance - Backyard Winnipeg Wedding

Nicole and Lance had a super sweet and intimate backyard ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. Before the ceremony we went to Henteleff Park for some beautiful photos of the two of them. I’ve got to say, I really love these intimate weddings. No stress, no rush to get here or there, just a nice day for the couple to spend together and reflect on their love and commitment to each other. The ceremony had a few people in tears and laughs. It was followed up with some delicious Pizza and some desserts from High Tea Bakery! Yum!

Amanda + Kelly - Pineridge Hollow Wedding

I’ve known Kelly for one heck of a long time, he’s a few years younger than me but we went to the same schools and he went to school with my sister as well. I was super pumped when him and Amanda booked us for their wedding. On the day of the wedding Amanda told me that Kelly wouldn’t have anyone else capture their day but me! Seriously what an honor and way to put the pressure on! Let me tell ya, we had some fun!!! I capture some photo’s of Amanda and her girls getting ready at their room at the Inn at the Forks, and then we headed over to Pineridge Hollow for the ceremony. After the ceremony we took off to Birds Hill Park for some photo’s and just so happened to have a couple horses walk by, which we managed to borrow one for a few photo’s with Amanda.

The evening was full of so many laughs from all of the wild and crazy speeches (like some of the most hilarious speeches i’ve heard!!), and it was also like a great high school reunion with some familiar faces there as well.

I hope you enjoy the heck outta this one, I know I did!

Rae-Anne and Chris celebrated their wedding at the Qualico Centre in Assiniboine Park. I started the day with them capturing some photos of them getting ready. We then headed over to the Leo Mol Gardens at the park to do their first look and all of their other photo’s. They had their ceremony in the gardens as well, and it was beautiful in all kinds of way. The evening was spent with them surrounded by their close family and friends and having lots of good fun!

Danielle + Carl - Whitetail Meadow Wedding

What a day! This was a fun one out at Whitetail Meadow. ‘Hank the Tank’ made an appearance and added such a fun vibe to Danielle and Carl's ceremony. Such a sweetie! We had lots of rain throughout the day, however this Bride didn't let it dampen the day. I love when couples decide to just get out and embrace the weather! The sun came out and we were able to get a few really beautiful sunny back lit portraits as well. Ended the day in a sunflower field, which was super fitting as Danielle's flowers were sunflowers!

Thanks again, you two!

Brianna + Mitch - Pine Ridge Golf Course Wedding

Where to start with this beautiful day?!? Brianna and Mitch were married this past august at Pine Ridge Golf Course. It was a day filled with sweet moments, lots of laughs, and a good amount of fun. Amanda and I had the pleasure of working this wedding together, which for me is always an added bonus.

Brianna and Mitch did their first look at the Golf Course, in the spot where they were supposed to have their ceremony, however that was later moved indoors due to a good amount of rain. As great as it would have been to have the ceremony outside, you can’t control the weather, and you just move on and make the best of it just like these two did. After speeches and dances we headed outside along with all of their family and friends to do some awesome sparkler photos.

Looking back at this wedding as we post it on the blog it reminds us of just how wonderful of a day Brianna and Mitch had together, and how lucky we were to be able to capture it for them.

Jenna + Jeremy - Canadian Museum for Human Rights Wedding

What a beautiful wedding. It started with a downpour, so we took some indoor photos indoorsnat the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Once the rain stopped for approximately 30 minutes, I ushered the party outside as I love shooting around the CMHR grounds. These two threw one heck of a party!! Added bonus for me was their first dance song is one of my favorites and I was able to see Gus (their pup) again. It was a really thoughtful and lovely day. Thanks again you two!

What a day! It started with a pretty wild rain storm, but finished off as beautiful as could be!
Nicole and Anthony were married at The Holy Rosary Church in Winnipeg by the famous Father Sam. He’s always great for some laughs during wedding ceremonies. After the ceremony and family photo’s we headed to the RRC downtown campus, and then off to Waterfront for a few more photos.

Nicole and Anthony celebrated with their family and friends at the Radisson Hotel in Downtown Winnipeg. The room was beautifully decorated and the party got pretty wild! We had a fun time and Im fairly certain everyone else there did too!

Charmaine + Eric - Niverville Wedding

Charmaine and Eric started their day off at The Fairmont Winnipeg. When I got there I met up with Eric and his dad and we rode the elevator together… oh yeah Nick Nurse (The coach of the Toronto Raptors) just happened to join us on the elevator too!
They both had separate rooms to get ready in with their wedding party, so I just hoped between rooms and captured it all for them.
With everyone ready to go we headed out for their ceremony, I may have noticed a few happy tears from Eric when Charmaine came down the aisle with her dad. Always love those little moments.

After their ceremony we made our way over to Waterfront and the exchange for photo’s of the two of them and their wedding party. Then it was off to Niverville to get the reception started at the Niverville Heritage Centre. Fun Fact, Amanda and I were married there too! So its kind of special to us.

We managed to sneak out at sunset, and send off a lantern into the air, and get a few more beautiful photo’s of them.

I had a fantastic time with Charmaine and Eric and got to meet so many of their wonderful friends and family who we’ve been lucky enough to take photo’s of since the wedding.

Time for you to scroll down and enjoy some photos!

Erin + Jamie - Nestor Falls Wedding

I left a day early to get to Erin and Jamies wedding, made a stop in Kenora, and then spent the rest of my day in Sioux Narrows. I wish I would have brought my shorts so I could have went for a swim as it was crazy hot out there and the lake looked to be perfect for a good swim. The next day I woke up, and made the drive to their wedding just past Nestor Falls. Jamie was there waiting for me with the boat to take me to their family cabin on the lake.

We got the day started by wandering around the property finding some amazingly beautiful spots for photo’s. There’s just something about weddings at the lake that just gets me all kinds of excited! Their pup followed us every where we went and joined in for some photos too!

With all of their guests having arrived they started the ceremony over looking the lake. What a dream!
After the ceremony was done everyone made their way down to the dock and enjoyed some much needed refreshments and getting their feet wet in the water, it was one heck of a hot day!

Erin and Jamie, and their family and friends were so welcoming and treated me just like one of them. It was such a pleasure to be part of such a beautiful day. So excited to share these photo’s below with everyone!

Enjoy
