Danielle + Michael - Pinawa Engagement

When it comes to picking locations for your engagement and wedding photo's we always try to incorporate locations that mean something to our couples. However we really do love it when they give us total freedom to pick a location of our choice. With all the snow we recieved we knew a great place to make some magic for Danielle and Michael. We took them out to the old Pinawa Dam. We made the first footsteps through a lot of the snow out there, and it was really far more beautiful than we thought it would be.

Danielle and Michael and their pup Roscoe toughed out the cold and we made some beautiful things happen with them. We even made our way to the suspension bridge and took some shots their (Thanks Danielle for not letting your fear of heights stop you from getting some photos)

Christina + Nick - Manitoba Club Wedding

It was one of Winnipeg's coldest days of the year, but that didn't stop Christina and Nick from having one of the best days of their lives..
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, and a beautiful historical building, their wedding seemed like it was one written from a fairy tale.
This wedding was nothing but a good time, a lot of laughs, and so much love radiating from the newly weds that it was almost contagious.

Congratulations to Christina + Nick - and we can't wait to see what the future holds for the both of you!
Cheers!

Kendra + Bruno - Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Wedding

Ever wonder if you can plan a wedding in just 5 short weeks? Well the answer is yes, and Kendra and Bruno did just that, and they executed it beautifully.

The ceremony was one to remember, as always when Father Sam is involved. After they were officially Mr. and Mrs, family and friends headed over to the King's Head Pub for some drinks and laughs.
After finishing up pictures, the party got started as the city lights turned on, and we had a fantastic view from the Radisson's Terrace view ball room. One of the more stunning venues with a view that Winnipeg has to offer.
It was non stop laughter, dancing and great food.
Spending the day with two people who are so in love, that it just radiates, and so happy that it is contagious is one of the reasons we absolute love our job.
I smiled the entire time I went through these pictures, and as usual - picking just a few for the blog was tough.

Congratulations Kendra and Bruno, it was a pleasure to have spent the day with you guys, and help to celebrate your marriage, and we can't wait for this summer when we get to take you guys out for more pictures!

Baby Lukas was one of my fastest newborn sessions to date. This little guy was out like a light, and slept like a champ. He was tiny, and cuddly and so adorable. I didn't want to stop taking pictures of him!
As usual, it was tough to just pick a few of my favorites to blog... but scroll down and check out the selection!

Baby Kailen was one of my smallest babies to date. He was so tiny, but so adorable. He also put up quite the fight to stay asleep, but with some patience and determination, I won. :) He was full of yawns, smiles and squishy faces. Seriously, such a cutie!
Here's just a few of my favs.

I got to meet Baby Ivy when she was just a couple days old. She was such a doll. All cuddles and super cuteness.
She was due in November, but didn't make her grand appearance until December. I was worried she was going to be a tough one to get to sleep, but she was the complete opposite!Congrats to new parents Chelsea and Dave!
Here's a look at a few of my favs.

Britney + Phil - Couples Shoot

Last winter we did a little styled shoot and needed some pretty flowers for it. We called up the wonderful Britney of Fache Floral Designs and asked if she could help us out. Being the great person she is, she created a beautiful bouquet and flower crown for us. In return we'd get her and Phil out for a shoot.

The two of them were all smiles and sunshine in front of the camera. Their fur babies did pretty good for the camera too. Its been great getting to know Britney over the past few years, she's a genuine good soul. Phil's got himself a good catch! ;)

To see some of Britneys work check out her website: Fache Floral Designs.
Or follow her on instagram @facheflorals
Phil is also a talented wood carver and you can see his work on instagram @jsquaredcarving

Kylie + Kevin - Engaged! - Winnipeg Wedding Photographers

Kylie and Kevin were really hoping for one of those gorgeous warm fall days for their shoot, but the timing just didn't quite work out. However, the weather brought a bit of moodiness to the shoot which we think made it that much better. We took a little wander around the exchange and found some great little spots, dealt with a bit of rain, and I think it even started to snow near the end of it!
Really excited for their big wedding day later this year.

Enjoy :)
