I knew ahead of time that Renee and Kurtis had a certain style to them, what I didn't know was how great their home was too! Its totally their style. I couldn't have asked for a better place for this shoot!
An in home shoot is just a bit more intimate than the usual couple's shoot outdoors. You are already comfortable in your home, it shows who you are and what you love.
We started with some really great coffee (I seriously love coffee these days!) Even though there's 2 mugs shown in the photo's there was one for me too.
I followed Renee and Kurtis around the house, forcing them to cuddle (well not really forcing them) It was really great to get them together for some more romantic moments, and for some good laughs, which were mostly at my expense.
I'd love to shoot more of these in home lifestyle couples sessions, if you're interested hit the link to contact us!
St. Boniface golf course isn't just great for golf, its also pretty fancy for weddings, even in the winter.
Danielle and Shaun started their day with their first look at Hy's Steakhouse, and we made our way over to Aspire Studio's for some photo's with the family and wedding party. After the ceremony we all made our way outside in some slightly frigid temps to get some more fun shots!
We definitely had a lot of fun with them and their wedding party.
Thanks to Michelle Blais for second shooting with me.
Enjoy

Winter isn't really such a bad time to get out for your engagement photo's its actually really pretty, as long as its not -40 out there!
We got out to The Forks with Andreia and Sam, I think we picked one of the busiest days ever to be there! We still managed to find some secluded spots, and I did throw them in the middle of the crowd for a few photo's. ;)
Looking forward to more fun with the two of them when their wedding comes along this year!
Enjoy

Danielle and Michael sealed the deal on New Years Eve! What a way to bring in the new year.
The ballroom at the Best Western Plus was decorated in style by Madeline's Weddings and Events.
We headed out to the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport to get some photo's with the two of them. They attracted quite a bit of attention from the travelers!
After that the we headed over to the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, sticking with the Airport theme.
The Rest of the evening was a fantastic party with close family and friends.
Thanks to Michelle Blais for second shooting with me.

Amanda managed to wrangle our two little munchkins to take some valentines photo's. There may have been some cookie bribery involved to get Nix to have his pics taken.
I think these two are the cutest, and they're our favorite little valentines!
Enjoy.
Over the years we've made some great friends through this crazy wedding industry. Britney and Phil are a pair of those great friends. (You may recognize Britney from Fache Floral Designs)
This is the second year we've got out with them to capture some fun photo's of their super cute family. Getting to know Britney and Phil over the past few years has been a pleasure! They are both super sweet and genuine people with such a love for life and each other.
Britney has also been a super big part of our Camp Wannaknowmore Workshop that we host every year out at Thunderbird Bungalows in Clear Lake, Manitoba, and we can't wait to have her back again this year!
All that nice stuff aside, take a little peak below at some of the photo's of them and their fur babies!
When I received an email from Katherine inquiring about us shooting her wedding I had no idea that i'd be shooting the wedding of one of my best friends from Junior High! Needless to say it was an awesome surprise. I had a great time out at The Gates on Roblin with the two of them and their close family and friends. The weather more than cooperated for us and I had a great time catching up with a bunch of old friends.

Back in the fall I headed out with Gail and Kevin to the Old Pinawa Dam. We ventured around, and enjoyed some good laughs. I love capturing the connection a couple has with each other. I also love getting out with our couples and getting to know them better. Pinawa is one of those great unique Manitoba locations. If you haven't been out there I suggest you go check it out.

What an amazing mid October day for a wedding! They couldn't have asked for better weather.
With a first look at a park just seconds from their new home, to some photo's at Aspire Studio, followed up with a walk around the exchange and finding ourselves in the middle of a christmas movie set (apparently Candice Cameron is in it?)
The day was wrapped up with the ceremony and reception at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Big thanks to Mandy Wright for second shooting again!
Enjoy

What a day! April and Red got lucky with a beautiful October day for their wedding.
We zoomed around from the Fort Garry, off to St. Peter's Church for the Ceremony, bounced back downtown to the Hydro Building a quick stop at the Millenium Library, and then over to Lagimodiere Baboury Park. A big high five to everyone for treking through some not so ideal walkways through the park, its very appreciated.
The Grand Ballroom at the Fort Garry was decorated to perfection for the hundreds of guests that attended.
Thanks again to Michelle Blais for second shooting with me. Also had an excellent day as usual working with the team from Dean Rover Films (Check out the same day edit they did below)
