Andrea and Eric are pretty much neighbors of ours, which made it pretty easy to head over to their place to start shooting her and the girls getting ready. A few quick pics with the guys after and we were all on our way out to La Lune to get the day going. This was my first time out at La Lune, and I was blown away at how beautiful it was there. They certainly made my job a bit easier with such a great venue.
After a sweet ceremony we shot a few pics around the grounds, and then got the party started. Once the sun dipped down I snuck out for some more photo's with Andrea and Eric and caught one hell of an amazing sunset with them. Sneaking off with the couple around sunset is something I try to do as much as possible, so if you can sneak 15 mins into your wedding day for a few extra photo's please do it!
Enough of my rambling, scroll on down through the pics and enjoy!
Keshia and Nikko took me on an adventure out to Pinawa, we got off the beaten path and climbed rock piles, and did what it took to get the shots. It should be mentioned that Keshia did all of this in heels without any hesitation!
Looking forward to their wedding next September!
Enjoy!
Kyla and Trevors wedding was nothing short of a perfect day! The weather was amazing, maybe even a bit too hot at times. It poured rain just before the ceremony but cleared up in time. I got to witness all of the girls singing some Alanis Morisette in the morning while they got ready.
For their first look we went back to the same bench at Assiniboine park where Trevor proposed. Followed that up with some photo's in the gardens, and then headed downtown for a couple drinks/shots at The Kings Head and more photo's around the exhange, then headed out to Breezy Bend for the Ceremony and Reception.
It was very clear to see how much these two are loved by family and friends as there was so many great things to be said about them. Lots of feels going on this wedding day!
We wrapped up with a little shoot on the golf course at sunset, and everyone partied the night away!
Enjoy!
Andreia and Sam had a classic and elegant wedding at The Met in downtown Winnipeg. It rained really really hard during the ceremony, but by the time it was over everything had cleared up and we had a wonderful time heading out for photo's with them and their fun wedding party.
Thanks to Michelle for second shooting this one with me.
Also got to work with Dean Rover Films on this one, if you get all the way to the bottom you can check out the video clip from the day!
Engagement shoots are always that much more meaningful when you do them somewhere that you both enjoy. For Coral and Matt this was out in Lake of the woods, and just a few short steps from their cabin. We went back to the spot where Matt proposed to Coral, and wandered around to a few other spots, and did a little wardrobe change!
I very much enjoy shoots out at the lake, getting out and seeing new places is always good in my books!
Enjoy!
Charlie was a very sweet, strong willed babe. He had this leg that he loved to have kicked straight up in the air. I have plenty of patience, and I allot more than enough time for these shoots, which was needed while I was waiting for him to relax that leg enough so I could get some cute photos done. No worries at all tho, as I got to get to know his Mom and Grandma while we were waiting. I have to say tho, he had the most perfect little round bald head that I have ever saw on a baby before!
Congrats Mom and Dad, I hope you're both getting a little bit more sleep these days!

There is something about super girly colors and a dash of sparkle that gets my excited. I was so excited for this almost unicorn color theme, and when mom had the sequin head band, I knew I would have to incorporate it!
Little Jeannie Lynn was a tiny little babe, who hardly let out a squeak at all, she was such a gem to meet and sneak in some cuddles with.
Congrats to the new parents, hopefully youre getting some sleep in!

I met Jacob late this summer. Im fairly certain he was one of my easiest babies to date. He slept like a dream and hardly made any fuss at all... until the last couple of photos we were trying to take...and he made a mess on my backdrop :) It's pretty common for these models to make a mess during our shoots, and it is no worries at all, some wet wipes, towels and maybe an outfit change, but the show must go on!
It's also the reason absolutely everything I bring to a shoot gets washes as soon as I get home too. Helps keep everything neat and clean for the next babe.
Congrats to the mom and dad and big brother on the arrival of adorable Jacob!

I met little baby Scarlett this summer. She was such a doll, and an amazing little model. She was only a few days old, but already surrounded by love. Her shoot had her Mom, Dad, and Grandma all there to help and it was so nice getting to know all of them.
Congrats to the new parents!

Just want to throw this out there that we really love small intimate weddings, especially when they happen to be at one of the most beautiful places in Manitoba.
Lisa and Kyle celebrated their big day out in Riding Mountain National Park, with Clear Lake as their backdrop. With just family and close friends this really was an intimate wedding.
Enjoy! :)
