What a day! This was a fun one out at Whitetail Meadow. ‘Hank the Tank’ made an appearance and added such a fun vibe to Danielle and Carl's ceremony. Such a sweetie! We had lots of rain throughout the day, however this Bride didn't let it dampen the day. I love when couples decide to just get out and embrace the weather! The sun came out and we were able to get a few really beautiful sunny back lit portraits as well. Ended the day in a sunflower field, which was super fitting as Danielle's flowers were sunflowers!
Thanks again, you two!

Where to start with this beautiful day?!? Brianna and Mitch were married this past august at Pine Ridge Golf Course. It was a day filled with sweet moments, lots of laughs, and a good amount of fun. Amanda and I had the pleasure of working this wedding together, which for me is always an added bonus.
Brianna and Mitch did their first look at the Golf Course, in the spot where they were supposed to have their ceremony, however that was later moved indoors due to a good amount of rain. As great as it would have been to have the ceremony outside, you can’t control the weather, and you just move on and make the best of it just like these two did. After speeches and dances we headed outside along with all of their family and friends to do some awesome sparkler photos.
Looking back at this wedding as we post it on the blog it reminds us of just how wonderful of a day Brianna and Mitch had together, and how lucky we were to be able to capture it for them.
Enjoy!
What a beautiful wedding. It started with a downpour, so we took some indoor photos indoorsnat the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Once the rain stopped for approximately 30 minutes, I ushered the party outside as I love shooting around the CMHR grounds. These two threw one heck of a party!! Added bonus for me was their first dance song is one of my favorites and I was able to see Gus (their pup) again. It was a really thoughtful and lovely day. Thanks again you two!

What a day! It started with a pretty wild rain storm, but finished off as beautiful as could be!
Nicole and Anthony were married at The Holy Rosary Church in Winnipeg by the famous Father Sam. He’s always great for some laughs during wedding ceremonies. After the ceremony and family photo’s we headed to the RRC downtown campus, and then off to Waterfront for a few more photos.
Nicole and Anthony celebrated with their family and friends at the Radisson Hotel in Downtown Winnipeg. The room was beautifully decorated and the party got pretty wild! We had a fun time and Im fairly certain everyone else there did too!
Enjoy!
Charmaine and Eric started their day off at The Fairmont Winnipeg. When I got there I met up with Eric and his dad and we rode the elevator together… oh yeah Nick Nurse (The coach of the Toronto Raptors) just happened to join us on the elevator too!
They both had separate rooms to get ready in with their wedding party, so I just hoped between rooms and captured it all for them.
With everyone ready to go we headed out for their ceremony, I may have noticed a few happy tears from Eric when Charmaine came down the aisle with her dad. Always love those little moments.
After their ceremony we made our way over to Waterfront and the exchange for photo’s of the two of them and their wedding party. Then it was off to Niverville to get the reception started at the Niverville Heritage Centre. Fun Fact, Amanda and I were married there too! So its kind of special to us.
We managed to sneak out at sunset, and send off a lantern into the air, and get a few more beautiful photo’s of them.
I had a fantastic time with Charmaine and Eric and got to meet so many of their wonderful friends and family who we’ve been lucky enough to take photo’s of since the wedding.
Time for you to scroll down and enjoy some photos!
I left a day early to get to Erin and Jamies wedding, made a stop in Kenora, and then spent the rest of my day in Sioux Narrows. I wish I would have brought my shorts so I could have went for a swim as it was crazy hot out there and the lake looked to be perfect for a good swim. The next day I woke up, and made the drive to their wedding just past Nestor Falls. Jamie was there waiting for me with the boat to take me to their family cabin on the lake.
We got the day started by wandering around the property finding some amazingly beautiful spots for photo’s. There’s just something about weddings at the lake that just gets me all kinds of excited! Their pup followed us every where we went and joined in for some photos too!
With all of their guests having arrived they started the ceremony over looking the lake. What a dream!
After the ceremony was done everyone made their way down to the dock and enjoyed some much needed refreshments and getting their feet wet in the water, it was one heck of a hot day!
Erin and Jamie, and their family and friends were so welcoming and treated me just like one of them. It was such a pleasure to be part of such a beautiful day. So excited to share these photo’s below with everyone!
Enjoy

What a stunner of a wedding this was! Alysa and Jorden had everything planned out so beautifully, all the pretty details and just a fantastic day of fun with their family and friends at Cielo’s Garden. The day started at The Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg with Alysa and her bridesmaids getting ready in one hotel room, while Jorden and his groomsmen getting ready in another. This made it easy for me to sneak back and forth to get getting ready shots of everyone. I got to work alongside Jerome Santome Films for the day, its always great to work with other very talented people and watch them work their magic.
We headed outside for their first look and some wedding party photo’s before making our way out of town to Cielo’s Garden.
They had their ceremony outdoors with some beautiful music by the Luminous String Quartet, seriously way to set the mood! After the ceremony t was time for cocktail hour in which their guest were able to enjoy a fantastic spread of appetizers by Chew Catering, as well as the Bride and Grooms signature drinks!
Chew Catering created an amazing tapas inspired 5 course meal for dinner which was honestly one of the best meals i’ve had the pleasure of enjoying (not just at a wedding, but anywhere!). A few fantastic speeches later and it was time to get the party started, and wow what a party it was!! Alysa and Jorden’s friends knew how to party and have fun on the dance floor!
Before the sun dipper too low in the sky we snuck off for some sunset photo’s and a little time away for the two of them to spend together alone.
A big thank you to Melanie Parent events for being wonderful to work with and making sure everything ran so smoothly during the day!
Time for me to stop typing, and time for you to start enjoying the photo’s below!
Oh how I love warm summer evenings! One thing I could do without would be mosquitos, and there was no shortage of them during Bonnie and Jacksons shoot. We didn’t let those buggers get to us too much though. Its so much fun getting out with all of our couples, and getting to know them better, capturing fun moments and memories for them. Looking forward to more good times with Bonnie and Jackson at their wedding in 2020.

We first met Sasha and Branden a few years back when we photographed Branden’s sister’s wedding. Which makes it extra special for us, and great to see so many fun and familiar faces! The wedding was held at Branden’s parents house in Grand Point, you’ll notice their beautiful yard and surrounding area which made capturing photo’s of their day very easy.
The day was HOT, but was it ever beautiful. Working along side the wonderful folks from Mindscape Studio’s we wandered around the property capturing photo’s of the bride and groom and the wedding party. After the ceremony the party got started and oh boy was there some fun being had by all. Once the sun dipped lower in the sky we took them out to the corn field across the street and got some really beautiful photo’s. Seeing as Branden and his Dad are car guys with some really cool vehicles we put those to use as well.
It was an honor to be a part of their day, and to catch up with a lot of familiar faces.
I hope you enjoy the photo’s below as much as we do.

Well. This was a first for me. So exciting! I went La Barriere Park to meet up with Chad who had a master plan to propose to Robyn. Pretty sure Robyn knew something was up, but her reaction was still so priceless. They were giddy and those are the best photos to take. I had so much fun with them and Henry. All the best, you two!
