La Lune Wedding Venue is such a wonderful place. Full of character and magical charm. Teagan and Justin started their day at the cutest AirBNB right near La Lune, it even had its own private lake which made for a great first look location. After the first look and a few photo’s with everyone it was time to head over to La Lune Wedding Venue for the ceremony and reception. La Lune has such a warm vibe to it, with tall the greenery, and warm lights, its always such a pleasure to shoot weddings out there. Their ceremony included some big laughs which lead into an evening full of even more big laughs and fun! There wasn’t a dull moment with these two and their crew!
Check out all the pics below to see what we’re talking about!
You might recognize Melissa and Josh from their Tofino elopement last year. We’ve been fortunate enough to be friends with them for a few years now, and when they added Winnie to their family we wanted to capture some photo’s of the three of them. We weren’t able to get out when Winnie was a pup, but hey we still managed to get out with them.
Who doesn’t love the beach! Especially when you’ve pretty much got it all to yourselves. We took a walk all the way down the beach and captured some really cute moments with Megan and Josh. Albert Beach has some special meaning to these two as Josh’s family happens to own the store there. I always love when couples pick places that have a bit of meaning behind it. It just makes the photo’s that much more special.
A cute pup, and a fun couple make for a great shoot! I met up with Holly and Adam at the beautiful Beaudry Park. There’s so many wonderful spots for photo’s there. Louie the pup was such a cute little guy. It was so great to capture Holly and Adams engagement, as well as the new addition to their family.
I dont think you can ever go wrong with an evening shoot wandering around the Exchange District in Winnipeg. Rachel and Joel were great to hang out with and were so great to work with. Their love for each other was easy to capture!
There’s just something so special and magic about an engagement session at the beach. Stella and Adrian chose Lester Beach for their shoot. When I met them at the parking lot they were both a little nervous about having their photo’s taken, but that quickly changed and they were having a great time. I didn’t want to stop shooting because everything was so perfect, the water was calm, the sunset was amazing and the two of them were just enjoying the moments together. I had to stop at some point though, so I left them behind on the beach with their bottle of champagne and let them watch the last of the sunset by themselves.
Tara and Chris had a very intimate wedding early this summer at The Manitoba Club. It was so intimate that I even got to be one of their witnesses to sign their marriage certificate! What an honor.
The Manitoba Club is an absolutley fantastic wedding venue for large weddings, and small intimate weddings like Tara and Chris'. The staff are always so wonderful and helpful, and the food is AMAZING!
After their ceremony and first dance, Tara and Chris and the kids took a break for lunch, and then we met up again for some photo's at Upper Fort Garry, right behind the Manitoba Club. Then we took off for a wander through the exchange for a some more photo's of just the two of them. We love intimate weddings like this, the day was so relaxed and stress free.

Spent an evening wandering trails with Monica and Marc for the engagement session. They even brought out there cute pup!
Engagement sessions are such a great way for all of us to get to know each other a little better before the wedding, which helps to create more natural photo’s, and have you comfortable in front of the camera.
You can also treat them like a little date and enjoy some special time between the two of you.
Take a moment to scroll through and enjoy some photo’s of Monica and Marc!
Sometimes wedding plans have to change a few times before the big day happens. With all kinds of restrictions for allowed gathering sizes, and travel not allowed Alyssa and Allan made the decision to elope.
They had their elopement at Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park. It couldn’t have been any more perfect. A beautiful and intimate ceremony beside the ice covered lake, and then a dinner for the two of them at Lake House in the outdoor hut. They actually ended up having to come inside and eat as it did get pretty cool out. Once inside we soon found out that the other two couples dining in there were celebrating their anniversaries! So it was one big celebration for everyone.
After a wonderful meal, we headed back to their AirBNB and they got out of their wedding clothes and into the hot tub for some champagne celebrations and a few more photo’s!
Take a moment and scroll through the photo’s, really hope you enjoy!
