A cool fall wedding day for Lexie and Taras. We started the day with their first look at The Forks in WInnipeg. We took some photo’s around there, and then made our way into the Exchange District/Waterfront. We didn’t last too long there as the cold wind started coming in real strong. We did manage to get some more photo’s outside at Fort Gibraltar where they had their ceremony and reception. Such a great venue, super unique and always amazing food!
They spent the evening with their close family and friends and danced the night away!
Heather and Zach were supposed to get married a year or 2 ago, but the Big C got in the way and they had to postpone. In the end it was worth the wait and the day was so amazing and fun for everyone. Lots of great laughs, fun speeches and great food.
A getaway to the lake is always fun. Jade and Graham invited me out to Victoria Beach with them to capture their engagement photo’s. They started off with making some pizza dough together, enjoyed some wine, and then we went outside for a bit and wandered around the area for some photo’s.
We made our way back to the cabin and the put their pizza together and we shot a few more photo’s inside. It was a great evening, and we all got to know each other a bit better before their wedding day.
We didn’t get a chance to meet with Geoff and Nad before their wedding, so when we finally got to meet them on the wedding day we were super excited, they were both so sweet, and calm, and excited to get married. It really got us right in the feels. They both got ready together at The Rustic Wedding Barn, just outside of Steinbach, Mb. There was no rush, just a nice easy going time enjoying each others company and soaking in the moments of the day. They had some really wonderful details, and we really loved their beautiful vow books, and their pocket boutonnieres (would love to see more of these! )
We got to take them out for a few photos around the Rustic Wedding Barn before their guests arrived for the ceremony. They were naturals and so fun to work with.
Their ceremony was something real special, there was lots of happy tears and some good laughs. They even had their dog Cash join them on a stool for the ceremony and held his paw as well. Super cute!
With the ceremony finished it was time for the reception, and Geoff and Nad made it very clear how the rest of the evening was going to go with their entrance to the reception. They did a super fun dance together!
After speeches and dinner everyone headed downstairs to get the party started, and what a wild party that would turn out to be! Drinks a plenty, dancing like crazy, and sooooo much fun for everyone!!
This was a day, and night we won’t soon forget!
Spent a nice fall evening with Kelly and Anthony at Birds Hill Park. These two are super sweet, and so in love. It was great to chat and get to know them better while we were out on the shoot. Looking forward to their wedding later this year!
A fall evening at the lake… yes please! I met up with Crystal and Mike at Albert Beach. We wandered, danced, played in the water and sand, and had a lot of good laughs!
We had an amazing evening out there, the lake was calm, the temps were warm for fall, and maybe had a bit of champagne! After the beach we made our way to another great spot near by to get a few more photo’s.
Can’t wait to get out with these two for their wedding this year!
Alyssa and Sean had a sweet intimate wedding at Smith Restaurant at The Forks in Winnipeg.
A private first look, and then a few photo’s before their ceremony in the restaurant surrounded by their family and friends. After the ceremony everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner.
I was only with them for a couple hours to capture some great memories for them. It just goes to show, that a full day wedding isn’t always needed, and sometimes just a few hours will capture everything you need.
This was a fun day! It looked like we were going to be rained out and not be able to get outside for photo’s, but the weather broke and the day turned out to be magic! Sierra and Matt had their wedding at Pineridge Golf Course. The ceremony was outside in this magical forest area! It was the first time Matt got to see Sierra for the day, and it was a pretty emotional moment for him. After the ceremony we headed out for photo’s and I got to take them to a location that not everyone gets access too (a friend of mine owns a large gravel pit and he let us use it for photo’s. )
The rest of our day was spent at Pineridge Golf Course, which is such a fantastic venue!
Lots of fun speeches, a great dance floor and so many good times for everyone!
One day I got a message from another Wedding Vendor with a screen shot of a facebook post she came across, it was a couple asking for a photographer that could take photo’s like the one pictured. Well it turned out that the photos were one’s that i’d taken. So I reached out to the couple and let them know those were my photo’s and that I was available for their wedding day! Crazy how that worked out, but here we are for Stephanie and Richards wedding! They planned their wedding in a super short amount of time, but it all worked out so perfectly! The wedding was held at Evergreen Village just outside Niverville, Mb. After the ceremony Steph and Richard cruised off in his freshly restored old car.
Once they got back we took some photo’s and enjoyed the cocktail hour before dinner and the party!
Enjoy!
An amazing day with smiles, cries, laughs and lots of fun! Angelina and Max did their first look and read their personal vows to each other at Assiniboine Forest. There was a little bit of rain, but it just added to the romance of it all. After some photo’s we made our way to their backyard ceremony. Even with a bit of rain, it was still perfectly beautiful. After the ceremony Angelina and Max jumped into her dad’s beautifully restored Cadillac and drove off together.
We met up again at the Forks and took a few more photo’s before their reception at Smith Restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the great food, had some great laughs at the speeches and danced the night away!
