For a day that started off with rain, it sure turned out beautiful. Bonnie and Jackson were finally able to get married at Niverville Heritage Centre (Fun fact, we got married there 10 years ago too)

The day was full of good times with their friends and family around them, a beautiful ceremony on the grand staircase, and a great party afterwards!

Meagan + Josh - Assiniboine Park Pavilion Wedding

I first met Meagan a couple years ago at her sisters wedding. Here we are now capturing her wedding, and what a day it was. I got to see so many familiar faces, which for me always makes for a fun day.
Meagan and Josh had a sweet first look outside the Pavilion, and from there was took a stroll around the park and took some photo’s and had some laughs.
After that it was ceremony time. They had their ceremony indoors at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion, and followed that up with a great cocktail hour and then it was party time!

Fun fact about the flowers, Meagan’s mom made them… out of paper!!! Aren’t they just amazing!!

Not its your turn to scroll through and enjoy.

Katie + Derek - Winnipeg Exchange District Engagement

What an evening with Katie and Derek. This was our first time meeting each other and it was wonderful. We enjoyed a stroll around the Exchange District. Had some great smiles and found some beautiful sunshine with the two of them. After wandering the exchange we navigated through traffic headed to the Winnipeg Jets game and found ourselves up on a rooftop parkade to finish off the session.

Brittani + Phillip - Assiniboine Park Engagement

We first met Brittani and Phillp in Cuba at her Brothers wedding!

There’s something so great about being able to work with couples you’ve met at other weddings.
We wandered around Assiniboine Park, which might I say is such a beautiful location in Fall and Summer.
Brittani and Phillip met while she was in Germany, and here they are now in Winnipeg, engaged and getting married soon! Pretty amazing how things work out.

Sierra + Matt - Birds Hill Park Engagement

A fantastic evening, with a wonderful couple. Sierra is one of those wonderful people that booked us right away when she got engaged! She knew what she wanted and didn’t waste anytime! Its always exciting having couples that are that excited to book you.
We spent the evening at Birds Hill Park, and the colors were AMAZING!
Matt may have been a bit unsure about having his photo’s taken at first but he warmed up pretty quick and enjoyed himself. Im sure you can tell by Sierra’s smile that she was having the best time too!

Can’t wait to get out for their wedding this year!!
Enjoy!

Sarah + Stuart - Evergreen Village Wedding

Well, this one took a few attempts to happen… like 4 different dates! In the end it all worked out like a dream for Sarah and Stuart!
I first met Sarah at her brothers wedding a few years ago, and was lucky enough to run into her a few times at Starbucks (she worked there). It was pretty exciting when she told us she wanted us for her wedding!
They couldn’t have asked for a better late September day for their wedding at Evergreen Village. Leaves still on the tree’s, warm temps, and perfect for an outdoor ceremony.
The venue was decorated wonderfully for the reception, and there was plenty of great speeches that had everyone laughing!
So glad that it all worked out perfectly for them after all of the date changes due to… well you know what…

Take a look through the photo’s and enjoy!

Mindy + Jeff - Clear Lake Elopement - Riding Mountain National Park - Elkhorn Resort

Elopements don’t have to be just the two of you, elopements can include your family and friends as well.
Mindy and Jeff invited their closest friends out to Clear Lake, Riding Mountain National Park to spend the weekend with them at Elkhorn Resort. The gentlemen spent the day getting ready together in their own cabin, while the ladies spent their time together in a separate cabin.

With everyone ready we made our way down to a nice quiet spot along the lake. Everyone gathered along the shore gathered around and Mindy and Jeff said their vows to each other and just like that they were married!

We then spent some time talking some photo’s and enjoying the absolute beauty of Clear Lake.
After that it was back to the cabins at Elkhorn Resort to enjoy some drinks, eat some delicious cake from CakeStudio what a treat that was!

Elopements can be whatever you want them to be, whether its just the two of you, or a group of family and friends by your side it doesn’t matter as long as its your day and you enjoy it!

Kelsey + Keith - St. Norbert Wedding

What a fantastic day for Kelsey and Keith to get married. I spent a bit of time with Kelsey and her bridesmaids while they got ready, and then it was off to the St. Norbert Monastery ruins for her first look with Keith. We spent some time there taking photos and then made our way to Kelsey’s parents house for the ceremony and reception. Their yard was setup so beautifully and was perfect for this intimate wedding.

Sage + Cole

I got to spend an evening with Sage and Cole, on what was probably one of the windiest days i’ve ever seen in my life! It was great though, we couldn’t hear each other because the wind was so strong, it was adding all kinds of mood and drama to the shoot. We also got to use a location on a friends private property which was pretty amazing. The two of them were up for anything and were so natural in front of the camera. Can’t wait to have them in front of the lens again.
